When I was asked to bring the latest cleanser from SW1 for a test-drive, I had to suppress a yawn. Another cleanser, I thought to myself.

And that’s where Skin Gym excels. This non-foaming gel cleanser is made from snail slime, (yes it sounds a little off-putting initially), packed with nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein, proteoglycans, and antimicrobial and copper peptides, all of which are commonly used in beauty products and proven to be beneficial for the skin. These elements help to protect the snail’s skin from damage, infection, dryness and UV rays and is touted to do the same for ours.

The wondrous thing about this gel cleanser is its thermal effects. On contact with damp skin, it warms up to open pores for more thorough deep cleansing as well as boost blood circulation at the same time! On contact with water, it changes into aa facial oil which is really the best solvent for oily residue such as sebaceous grime and oil-based makeup on the skin.
Upon rinsing, it dissolves instantly and washes away like a dream, leaving skin completely fresh and light. In fact, it makes cleansing of my face such a joy I was tempted to repeat the whole process again.
My skin felt supple and soft, my cheeks had a natural flush from the improved circulation. Usually my skin feels unbearably tight a few minutes after cleansing, but with Skin Gym’s pH balancing technology, my skin was calm and non-irritated.
All I can say is that its Love at First Try.
